This Privacy Policy explains how Appointee collects, uses, shares, and protects your information globally, in compliance with GDPR and other international privacy standards.

Appointee collects information to provide, improve, and secure our appointment management services. This includes:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, business name, phone number, and secure authentication credentials.
  • Business Profile Data: Business hours, service offerings, physical location, and staff details you choose to provide.
  • Client Information: Data you input regarding your clients (names, contact info, appointment history, notes). You act as the Data Controller for this information, and Appointee acts as the Data Processor.
  • Technical Data: Device identifiers, IP addresses, app version, and operating system details.

2. How We Use Your Data

We strictly use your data to deliver the Appointee service. We do not sell your personal data. We use it to:

  • Facilitate appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups.
  • Authenticate your access and secure your account.
  • Process subscription payments (via secure third-party processors).
  • Send essential service updates and customer support communications.

3. Analytics and Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website to ensure basic functionality, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors interact with our platform.

5. Google Play and Android App

When you download the Appointee app via Google Play, certain data is collected according to the Google Privacy Policy.

Appointee may request specific device permissions (e.g., Notifications, Camera for QR scanning, Contacts if you choose to import them). These permissions are strictly used to execute core app features and are never accessed maliciously or shared.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and the client data you process only for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you the services.

If you choose to delete your account, we will systematically delete or anonymize your data from our active databases within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations requiring extended retention (e.g., financial transaction records).

Regardless of where you live, we offer the following rights to all Appointee users:
